The Gateways Training School focuses on discipleship. We believe Jesus intended for us to follow Him together in the company of friends. We are called to be a part of a family…the family of God! We discover our true identity and purpose best when we welcome others into our lives and we receive trusted mentorship, wisdom and guidance that we cannot obtain on our own.
Being discipled requires vulnerability, humility, and a willingness to receive honest feedback. Your “yes” to the GTS means you are saying yes to being led by our staff and leaders to speak into your life. As a community, we deeply long to gather around the presence of the Lord with extended times of worship and prayer. Saying yes to this season is allowing yourself to get swept up with us as we adore Jesus together. We believe that revelation and transformation happen best in an atmosphere of joy and we know that in his “presence is fullness of joy”. Psalm 16:11

Q: What does a week look like?
A: Daily worship and prayer. Dynamic teaching and impartation in the mornings. Outreach into the city. Team building exercises that will include: tending to gardens, learning food preservation, hands on construction projects, land clearing, trail building, and much more! Weekly Sabbath celebrations. We will gather for worship Sunday evenings and enjoy regional worship gatherings from time to time.
Q: Is the school full time?
A: Yes, we meet Monday through Friday and we take our Sabbath on Saturdays to fully participate in the rest of the Lord. Additionally, on Sundays we will connect to the church of the city and take time to adventure in the beautiful natural surroundings that the PNW offers.
Q: Can I work while attending the Gateways Training School?
A: No. Because of the pace of the GTS, it is essential that our students dedicate the full school period to the requirements of the GTS. It is impractical to try and balance other part-time jobs, work remotely, or even take online classes while participating in the school.
Q: What does the tuition include?
A: Classes, materials, transportation, food, and housing.
Q: Are married couples and families able to attend?
A: Yes! Reach out to us to get more information for your unique situation.
Hi, we are Everett and Virginia Williamson! We have been married since July 2022 and in full time missions since the beginning of 2021! We have been to over 15 countries sharing the love of Yeshua, and our hearts long to see the Great Commission fulfilled. We are passionate about unreached people groups (especially in the Middle East and Central Asia), young people being discipled and set free from all the weight of the world, and seeing Yeshua return to us!
The last few years…we’ve served as staff of a ministry called Youth with a Mission (YWAM), where we lead teams of young people all over the world to spread the Gospel. Just recently, we moved back to our hometown of Spokane, Wa to help start up Gateways Training School! We are so excited to see what God is doing in this area and how we can partner with Him here in Spokane! So look forward to meeting you!
